About the project
In Their Words is a podcast from the UPMC Pinnacle Foundation and UPMC Central Pa., highlighting the powerful stories happening within their hospitals and communities. Each episode features patient journeys, expert insights, and conversations that show how care, compassion, and innovation come together to make a real difference. It’s a space where listeners hear directly from the people whose lives have been shaped, and often transformed, by UPMC.
My role
I serve as the host of In Their Words, guiding each conversation with care, clarity, and focus.
- Host interviews with patients, clinicians, and community leaders
- Help guests feel comfortable sharing personal stories and expertise
- Ask thoughtful questions to draw out meaningful moments and insights
- Shape conversations so they remain accessible, uplifting, and community-centered
- Support UPMC’s mission of storytelling that reflects hope, resilience, and impact
