About the project
Finding Fire Island is a limited podcast series that brings to life the history, culture, and spirit of one of the world’s most iconic queer destinations. Through vivid storytelling, archival tape, interviews, and atmospheric sound design, the series explores how a quiet 19th-century beach town transformed into a modern-day haven for artists, theater-makers, and LGBTQ+ communities.
Presented by the Broadway Podcast Network, the show celebrates the people, performances, and politics that shaped Fire Island into a place of refuge, expression, and joy.
My role
I joined the Finding Fire Island team to help bring this series from concept to launch, contributing across creative, editorial, and technical stages.
- Supported launch strategy and early series development
